saturday is a special day

Today was a great day! Lexie and I were up early to do barn chores and then took a walk to the river to put the snails and frogs back in the river that the boys had accumulated during the week of camp. We had a mid-day swim party with some groovy tunes. Now it's sunset and Luciane is making dinner for us again. Lexie and Dylan headed out to do evening barn chores with Sarah.
Last night we all went downtown and had pizza and walked on the mall. The band was pretty good and Christopher and Luciane were excited to be out of the Utah mold. Charlottesville is such an awesome place to live because the people who live here are so diverse!
Thursday night we were all starving and waiting for Luciane's delicious dinner, so we were all in the kitchen hanging around. Sarah started a dance party to keep the kids occupied and it was alot of fun! We have some quality video from the night that I'll have to get up soon. Nothing like a spontaneous Merkley family dance party. :)
That's about it for now!
the only frogs we've been finding at the river so far are baby ones like these.
